If you are interested in applying for a Summer Camp or School-Year position, you must complete the staff application.
Responsibilities include teaching swim lessons and guarding the pool or lake. We are looking for responsible, enthusiastic individuals. Applicants must have lifeguard, CPR and first aid certification. If you are not certified or need re-certification, Maplewood will reimburse the cost of the course.
Searching for a certified instructor who can create safe, fun and engaging sessions that will encourage a deep respect for oneself and others and develop campers’ confidence in their abilities. Applicant should have prior experience teaching students of varying ages and fitness levels.
Be a part of our training/mentorship program that will give you the skills needed to be a counselor in future years. Strengthen your leadership and communication skills and grow your self-esteem and confidence. Flexible schedule. Applicants must be entering 10th grade in the fall of 2025.

This is more than a summer job, it is an amazing 8-week experience that will allow you to learn and grow. We would like to invite you to come and join our camp family.
When it comes to family, there is nothing we take more seriously. Our staff, many of whom were former campers, are the ingredient that makes Maplewood so special.
Some of our Staff members have been with us for 10, 15 even 25 years!!
