Safety

At Maplewood, even the transportation is designed to develop your child’s independence and the bus staff knows that this ride may be the first time many of them have gone somewhere on their own.

Our dedicated bus drivers and monitors are trained professionals that go through a careful vetting process, ensuring a secure and comfortable journey to and from camp.

Safety First

To cultivate a safe, inclusive space for every child's growth and exploration.

Personal Approach

Familiar faces greet campers, enhancing comfort and connection during their bus rides.

How it works

Attendance is completed as each child boards at their stop and exits upon their arrival at camp. We provide car seats for our younger campers.

Experienced staff will keep your child both safe and busy by the end of that first ride, you can bet your kid will be jumping right into the activities as they sing, play and cheer their way into camp.

Teaching children to be safe

Campers are all taught from the very first day how to follow the bus rules.

Staff know the children

Since the bus staff also works at the camp, they greet kids by name and provide the added comfort of having a familiar face.
