THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Lucy had absolutely the BEST Summer at Maplewood. She loved every moment. When we pulled into camp each day, she begged for me to roll down the windows so she could smell “the fresh camp air.” She loved the activities, and came home every day raving about all the things she got to do and new games she got to try.

When we saw Lucy jump into the deep end and comfortably swim with friends in the deep end all weekend, there were literally tears of joy and gratitude. We're truly appreciative of her swim instructor, Rachel. Lucy loved swimming with her every day and we are grateful to the entire waterfront team! (Bonus points to the lifeguard who knows every car and child at the drop-off circle! That was incredible to watch.

Thank you for another great two weeks at Maplewood! Weston loved his 2nd year at camp and is already talking about next summer. He always came home with lots to talk about and excited for the next day! We know that his allergies are a lot to accommodate, but greatly appreciate the support from your staff to keep him safe and help him have lots of fun! He’s now a fish from swimming so much at camp and has a new found love for archery and dance. Thank you so much for having an amazing place for children to grow and learn each summer.

We can’t even begin to tell you how proud we all are of Chase this summer! Such growth from him in just 1 year! We are so grateful for your entire team and the staff at Maplewood who have taken on such a large role in his success this summer! We are so proud to see how well he is doing socially, and learning how to work with others and be part of group activities with his peers. We are also so impressed with how much progress he has also made in the pool this summer! He is always toting at how well he can swim now. He’s treading water and really swimming! We are just so grateful for your team’s patience, dedication, and support of Chase’s overall success.

I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for all the time, effort, and energy that you put into camp this summer. My daughter Robin had never attended a true camp before and we are blown away by her experience over the last four weeks. Her confidence, independence, and social skills have blossomed, and her swimming progress blew us out of the water (literally!)! We really felt that you got to know her and appreciated every picture and video. We look forward to making more memories at Maplewood in the years to come.

It's the first year my boys went to Maplewood, and they had a blast there. As parents, we are very happy that they enjoyed their time, but more importantly for parents with a T1D kid, the nurses you had there are so good that I don’t think I can ask anything more that what they already did. Nurse Stephanie communicated with me timely, watched over my son’s BG very closely and took actions immediately when needed. They were very responsive and always replied to my messages quickly.

Thank you so much for giving Claire such an incredible summer experience at camp this summer. As you know, this was her first year at Maplewood, and she lived it more than I could have ever hoped! I am so grateful to you, and to her amazing counselors, for helping her learn and grow so much this summer, all while having the absolute best time. She is especially proud of all of the progress she’s made in swimming, and we have been in awe of how quickly she picked it up.

I just wanted to let you know that Connor came home from camp yesterday and said it was the best day ever. Like many parents I am sure, we were a little worried about the rain. When I asked Connor how his rainy day at camp was he said “OMG MOM, it was the best day yet!” It was the best and I even made a new friend, Jack!”

Thank you to you and everyone else that is working hard to make sure Finn has successful days at camp. Signing him up for Maplewood I had no idea what to expect and our experience has far exceeded my expectations. I am amazed by the support available, the communication, and the overall experience. Everyday I leave drop off knowing your all have Finn’s best interest at heart and are a few steps away if he needs the support.

Wow! What a difference 4 weeks makes. Words cannot express how grateful we are for your hard work, dedication and passion for helping kids have the greatest camp experience. We have watched Nathan grow and transform into a happier, more confident boy. He absolutely LOVES camp and is sad that it’s his last day. We appreciate all that you’ve done to help us acclimate to camp life! Thank you!!

I just wanted to reach out to let you know what an amazing summer Caleb is having at camp. Caleb always loved Maplewood but this is by far his favorite summer yet! He loves his counselors s much and is having a ball. Maplewood is just the best and we are so lucky to have you guys in our kids’ lives. Thank you for all that you do to make summer camp so wonderful!

I was just emailing you to say thank you. These past ten years at Maplewood have been the best summers of my life. I am so grateful for everything you have done and I am so honored I got to work for you this summer. I’ve met so many amazing people here at camp and without them I don’t know where I would be in my life. So, once again, thank you for your kindness and hard work all these years and thank you for giving me the best memories that I will cherish forever. See you next summer.

My son has attended Maplewood and they are absolutely amazing and take such good care of the children! I have them take the bus and honestly, it’s a breeze! Everyone is so on top of their game, it’s wonderful! You receive pictures everyday of what your child does and they are so responsive to weather concerns. They balance indoor and outdoor activities throughout the day along with 2 pool times, so your child has outdoor activities, indoor AC and pool time for a balance (every half hour they are doing a different activity). If there is inclement weather, they bring in DJs, magicians, the animal guy etc. to help entertain in the gymnasium! My son has so many friends from camp. You even receive calls from Lee about the progress your child is making during their pool/swim time!

I wanted to take a moment to highlight the AMAZING experience my kids enjoy while at camp. I have heard a great deal about kayaking and seeing the turtles. I have heard about the pedal karts, the penny dive, and have even been taught some new dance moves they have brought home. They come home with smiles and stories that are a true testament to how amazing Maplewood is and friendships and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you again for the follow up and for providing such an amazing camp for all the kids to enjoy, we feel so lucky to be part of the Maplewood family and look forward to the summers to come.

As the end of summer approaches I wanted to reach out to you and let you know how much fun David had this summer at Maplewood. I was very nervous about how he would like camp and settle in because of his anxiety. He tried so many things this summer and just adored the staff! He comes home happy every day filled with wonderful stories! As his Mom, I could cry I am so happy! I know he will be extremely excited nest summer when he knows how much fun he’s going to have at camp!

My children have been coming to Maplewood for 8 years. The counselors at Maplewood are amazing. Lee and Sue return every call immediately if there are ever any questions. The Nurse is amazing. Maplewood is the best place for my children to spend the summer.

I have two daughters who have been coming to Maplewood for 7 years. They love it. They have grown up here and want to be counselors. Everything about Maplewood has been fun. It’s a structured environment and safe. There is great transportation and the counselors are very professional.
